Here’s a big project I’ve been working on for the last few months, in between other jobs - creating artwork for the marketing of the Sony Playstation game Battle Royale Allstars. It was a lot of fun finding the right level of detail to describe both Big Daddy from Bioshock, and Ratchet & Clank. If that wan’t enough, any project where you get to draw Parappa the Rapper can’t be half bad.

My entry for the Marvel vs. Capcom 3′s ‘Paint With Greatness!’ fanart contest. The requirements called for a 6 character minimum, equal sides, so I chose (from Marvel): X-Men’s Wolverine and X-23, and Dr. Strange’s Dormammu, and (from Capcom): Okami’s Amaterasu, Darkstalker’s Morrigan, and Devil May Cry’s Dante.
This piece was very experimental and educational in that I have never (1) painted with watercolor in such a large size, (2) done this many distinctive characters, (3) painted such a dynamic, action-packed composition. I also only had a couple of days to orchestrate the piece’s completion and submission, but I’m pretty happy with the outcome and hope to do more paintings like this in the future.
