Master Chief’s evolution: the concept art of ‘Halo 4’
Halo 4 is the first original game to come out of 343, but Garza has actually worked at the company for around four years now. He met Kenneth Scott, 343’s senior art director, at a conference in Dallas, and eventually was invited to come join a secret project in Kirkland, Washington. Garza describes himself as a Halo fan — he’d played the games and followed the series’ fiction closely — so the decision to join 343 was a pretty simple one. “It was a no-brainer for me,” he says.

Sizing up the new iPhone 5 against its Android and Windows Phone competition
I know that I’m late to the game today. Sorry about that, I was working like a crazy person. By now I’m sure you know everything you needed to know about the iPhone 5 but this post by Chris Welch does a great job of putting Apple’s new hardware in perspective against it’s competition.

Xbox 720 document leak reveals $299 console with Kinect 2 for 2013, Kinect Glasses project
Whoa. A massive amount of information just leaked about the next Xbox. A 56 page document talks about a new console, smart glass (they showed this off at E3), and a new Kinect. Those were pretty easy to guess were coming.
The craziest part of the document says, “Xbox experience served up from the cloud. Instantly on any screen.” It also says “never need to upgrade hardware again.” I don’t even know what that means. Is Microsoft planning on turning gaming into OnLive? That’s the only way you’d get Halo running on a tablet or phone (pictured). It’s really interesting and I’m really excited for it.
